Jason Frede, director of sales at The Barcode Group, gathered colleagues as well as team leads from our retail partner – a regional grocery leader. Together, they would determine which, if any, of the pizzas would earn valuable freezer space in their stores.
Jason led this strategic exploration with an eye on market dynamics and consumer preferences. He proved that one person’s pizza taste test is another’s evaluation of packaging, pricing and overall market appeal.
As the team sampled each pizza, they discussed flavor profiles, texture and the overall consumer experience.
